Phyllis Jensen Allen, 36, of Loma Verde, California, died in a local hospital August 9, 1965 after a long illness. Mrs. Allen, a substitute elementary school teacher in the Novato School District, had lived with her husband and two children in Marin County for seven years.

Phyllis was a native of San Marino, California. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in San Rafael. Her husband, Robert Allen is an advertising man in San Francisco. She is also survived by a son Michael Allen; a daughter, Marilyn Allen; her mother Mrs August Burst of Mentone, California and a sister Mrs Nova Bristol of Los Angeles.
