Loren was my beloved brother, mentor and good buddy. A top student, he attended Cal Tech and UCLA, He served honorably in the U.S. Army. Loren continued our father's business, Speed Burner Kettle Company for many years. Then he joined 4 other engineers and helped create KOCE, Channel 50, in Huntington Beacvh, CA. After 20 years he retired from KOCE. Loren enjoyed his ham radio, K6SLR, skiing, and fly fishing.
