Naomi Hoyt Best died at her home on April 7, 2000.  She graduated from SPHS in 1951 and then Sawyer College of Business.

She was a secretary for Honeywell Corp's purchasing department, retiring in 1988.

Naomi is survived by two daughters, Wendy of Palm Desert, and Michele Golden of Alta Loma; a son, Steve of Pasadena; three grandchildren; and her mother Catherine Hoyt of South Pasadena; and a sister, Sharlene of Arcadia.
