She was born April 22, 1934. She held various educational positions as a teacher and a reading specialist. She later worked at Claremont McKenna College, where she wrote press releases, newsletter articles and helped with a biography of founding president George Benson.
She was involved with various churches throughout her life, the most recent being Claremont Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Goodrich; children Beverly Plass, Barbara Titus and Peter Goodrich; and eight grandsons.
