Jeanne Kline Dodson passed away on March 25, 2007, at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto.

A retired teacher, she earned a B.A. from Grinnell College in Iowa on an academic scholarship.  Reading was her passion.  She was a Christian who lived her life in service to others.  She faithfully attended the daily Spanish Mass at St. Stanislaus Church.  Jeanne volunteered many hours at local convalescent centers. 

She is survived by her husband, Lamar Dodson of Modesto; father, William Kline of Laguna Woods, in Orange County; daughter, Debbie Hammer of Novato; and brothers, Hollis Kline of San Rafael, John Cameron of Seattle, and Jim Kline, who lives in France.  She is preceded in death by her son Daniel Dodson.
