Margo Spit

September 3, 1950 - March 28, 1997

Although it is long in coming, our family thought many people would want to know about Margo's passing March 28, 1997. After a long, courageously fought battle with breast cancer, our beloved Margo passed away in Florence, Italy with all her family at her side. She had lived there for 20 years, married to her husband Angelo Perugini, who passed away in 2006. Margo visited the States often during this time, always staying close to her family here. One of the many things she loved doing in Italy was singing in a gospel group and she loved Jesus. She also stayed very much involved in the Art world in Florence, giving tours and lecturing.

Margo leaves behind countless beloved memories of her cheerful fun-loving spirit, and her beautiful art. She was a truly remarkable person, lovely inside and out. With loving remembrances,

I remember Margo as an exotically beautiful girl of Dutch-Indoesian origin,She was kind and sweet. One bold memory was in Biology class when her long hair was caught fire in the Bunson burner. She was so upset.I pray for her and delight in the revelation that she was a child of Christ and I know she is in Paradise.
