Stephen Wesley Stimson

Stephen W. Stimson died December 30, 2000, in an automobile accident at age 50. Steve was born September 29, 1950, in Pasadena, California. He attended Pasadena City College, graduated from California State University at Los Angeles and did graduate work at Pepperdine University. He lived in San Gabriel and Redwood City, California before moving in 1989 to Scholls, where he was a real estate salesman, most recently for Re/Max Equity Group. He was serving on the board of directors of the Hillsboro American Legion. In 1972, he married Anne Dixon.

Survivors include his wife; daughters, Mariya Stimson and Katie Yelvington; son, Jonathan; mother, Jacqueline Couture; father and stepmother, George and Dottie; brothers, Larry (SPHS '64) and Rick (SPHS '73); sister, Janice Brethen (SPHS '74); and two grandchildren.

Pee Wee, we miss you and your wonderful smile. We had many wonderful memories. Especially Dec. 29, 2000 with you, Anne and us laughing until we had tears in our eyes. That is our lasting memory. Thank you.
