This is so great to see photos of Debbie in San Dimas, CA.  (we have some too, I'll dig them out)  Debbie was our neighbor, and treasured friend.  Our horses were next door on the block, and we all rode together over the San Gabriel Valley trails, danced at The Western Connection cowboy bar in town, went to rodeo, went horse camping, and enjoyed every ounce of living with our horses, chickens, and other critters. Debbie also had a pot bellied pig, named "Piggy Sue", a duck named "Donald", and a little farm of pets she loved dearly.  One of her cats, "Princess", has been a treasured member of our family since Debbie's passing, and we adoped some of her chickens as well.  Debbie is remembered for her great humor, many friends, and loved by her students at the LaVerne elementary school where she taught. She was a magical teacher.  She was a good friend to the Marshall Canyon Mounted Assistance unit, as well.  The lovely black Arabian horse that she is riding in this photo, is probably "Star".  She had other horses that she loved, as well, another chestnut Arabian named Aspen.  All of us riding and life buddies miss her so much, and value the time we spent together.  One day when visiting her home, I was thrilled to see her Copa de Oro on the bookshelf.  I'd only known her about ten years then, and had no idea that she had graduated from SPHS, but remembered her (Debbie Williams) from school athletics and sports. (We met as Debi Tiegs and Kathy Dantas (back then.)

Through Debbie's encouragement, her friends fulfilled their dreams: one became an actor, another an author, and others found happiness and joy in marriage and new careers. My husband and I  found our farm.  She always believed in striving and doing your best, and with JOY.  There is not a day that I don't think of this "Angel Supreme" who touched our lives so deeply, and who showed us the meaning of courage under the strains of cancer treatment. She was a great friend to my husband and myself, and a true example of a life well served.  She was, is, a real Lady, and is very missed.
