Elise died at age 32 on August 16, 1993. At the time of her death she had been living in South Pasadena. Cause of death was cancer.
Elise is survived by her husband Chris Ryan; children Peter, Claire, and Shannon; and stepchildren Katie (Ryan) Davis and Chris Ryan Jr.

What I remember most about Elise was her amazing talent as a gymnast. It's too bad that her life was cut so short, but she lived it well.
