Harriet Nickel Whinnery

March 7, 1907 - April 19, 1997

Montebello, California:  I attended Pasadena Junior College for two years. Following college I was employed for several years by a mortgage company in Pasadena. I married John Whinnery in 1937 and we moved to Montebello as John was a teacher in the Montebello School District. In 1946 he became Superintendent of the District, and was active in several state and national educational associations. We traveled throughout the United States. We have one daughter, Jane Carol who is married and lives in Saratoga, California.
