Wilfred Otis Boettiger, 87, of San Diego died October 11, 2007.  He was born in Clark County, Illinois and was a retired colonel in the Army.

Survivors include his wife, Luciana Boettiger; daughter Claudia Hanson; son Brian Boettiger; stepdaughter Michelle Martin; and two grandchildren.
