Marguerite Otvos, resident of Orinda, California, passed away on April 8, 2008 in Moraga at the age of 85.  She had battled Parkinson's disease for years.

Margie was born and raised in Pasadena, CA. and married her beloved John in 1945.  He preceded her in death by just two months.  They lived a full and rewarding life in Kensington and Orinda while raising three children.  She had a passion for gardening (maintaining an impressive bonsai collection), loved bridge, tennis, and golf, and was a sucker for hungry squirrels and blue jays.  She enjoyed frequent travels with John to visit far flung children and grandchildren and was never without a good book.

She is survived by son Jim Otvos, daughter Linda Turner, and seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  Her other son, Allan, died unexpectedly in 2007.
