Eichi Nambu, born April 20, 1922 in Fresno, and a resident of Torrance, California, passed away on October 7, 2010. He was preceded in death by his eldest son, Steven Nambu; and siblings, Taeko Nambu Uyemura (SPHS '39), Albert T Nambu (SPHS '42), Henry Nambu (SPHS '44), and Masako Nambu Nakahara (SPHS '46).

He is survived by his wife, Emiko Nambu; children, Rex Nambu, Carolyn (Bruce) Machida, and Scott (Tess) Nambu; grandchildren, Aimee and Tommy Machida, Christie and Naomi Nambu; also numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
