Beverly L Norton (Alderson)

Beverly 'Bev' Norton Alderson was born in Los Angeles, June 20, 1924, the daughter of Thomas and Helen Norton. She attended South Pasadena High School followed by graduating from Occidental College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1946. She later married John 'Wes' Alderson of Pasadena in 1948 and who passed in 1980.

Bev was the family homemaker for their five children. Together she and Wes carved the Mt Shasta KOA Campground from undeveloped land in the early 1970s. Later as a widow, she had a love for travel and zigzagged across the country in her motorhome. Beverly was a resident in Leisure Village for 32 years, and also did local volunteer and charity work in Camarillo. Beverly passed away peacefully with family nearby on September 23, 2016 in West Hills, California.

Bev is survived by her five children: Robin, Merry, Laurie, Norton, and Dana; as well as 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
