Barbara Waye Price (Hamlin)

Barbara Hamlin, a 94-year-old resident of Forks, Washington, passed away November 12, 2015 at her home on the Quillayute Prairie in Forks. Barbara was born to William and Helen Fursee Price in Chicago, Illinois on March 5, 1921. She graduated from South Pasadena High School and attended Pasadena City College.

Barbara worked for Pacific Telephone and Telegraph as a service representative. She married Donald Loomer, now deceased, and later married Carl Hamlin who is also now deceased. She moved to Sequim, Washington in 1995 and then to Forks in 2007 to be closer to family.

Barbara loved cats and volunteered for Olympic Peninsula Friends of Animals. She also enjoyed golfing and reading. She is survived by her daughter, Donna (Doug) Moulton of Forks. She was preceded in death by her brother, Herbert Price.
