Jerry Withrow

February 28, 1932 - March 2, 2022

Jerome Charles Withrow, age 90, of Shady Cove, Oregon, passed away unexpectedly. Born to Edith and Donald Withrow, he spent his early years in the Chicago area, relocating with the family to California while still in elementary school. After serving in the United States Air Force, Jerry attended Claremont McKenna College. Following his graduation Jerry began a long career as a salesman, working throughout California, Nevada, and Georgia. Jerry retired to Arizona and ultimately made his way to Oregon where he resided in Shady Cove. In retirement, Jerry enjoyed golf and spending time at the Upper Rogue Moose Lodge.

Jerry met his former wife Martha Hodge while in college. The couple married and had four children. Later in life Jerry married Sandy Laughlin and became stepfather to her three sons.

Jerry was preceded in death by parents Edith and Donald, brother 'Pal', son Jay, wife Sandy, stepson Bruce, and grandson Jason. He is survived by daughters Michelle Rankin and Kristen Dorman of Yuba City, California; son Skiff Withrow of Eagle Point, Oregon;  stepsons Don Laughlin of Red Bluff, and Loren Laughlin; four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
