Saburo Yasuda - Class Of 1937

Saburo Yasuda

Saburo Yasuda, retired after 50 years as a landscaper, died in El Sobrante, California on November 30, 1998.  He was 82.  A native of Hiroshima, Japan, he lived in El Sobrante for 40 years and previously lived in Richmond for 11 years.

He was affiliated with Japanese American Citizens League in San Francisco and enjoyed gardening, fishing, and was an avid sports fan.

He is survived by his wife Clara; sons Steven Yasuda of Vallejo, Martin Yasuda of Sacramento, and Kelvin Yasuda of Valencia; sister Hifumi Nakamura of Japan; brothers Masao Yasuda of Montebello and Masami Yasuda of Gardena; and three grandchildren.
