Milestones & Epiphanies

I survived a divorce in 1966, years in a 5th or 4th grade classroom in 2 cities. Developed a program for gifted kids that really worked for 8 years. 4 years on our local schoolboard and 12 years in a 37 foot RV with my husband Mike as we traveled all over the US and Canada.

Most recently we survived the loss of our favorite home to the Witch Creek Fire in Oct. of '07, the rebuild in '08 (no thanks to the San Diego Co. Planning Dept.!) and now I will adjust to being a widow thanks to lots of good friends and wonderful family.

Pastimes & Hobbies

I have always loved being outdoors. Camping, boating, playing softball, body surfing at the beach, driving fun vehicles and playing with horses. I have been lucky to have had time and money for lots of these activities.

Favorite Music, Songs, Bands

Thanks to BJ Donlon Witz, I joined the Rancho Bernardo Chorale and have lots of fun with them preparing for two performances a year.

Also play my guitar with a group of harmonica players from our Ramona Kiwanis Club

Love most kinds of music and it has always been an important part of my life even though I am a rank amateur.

Favorite Books, Magazines, Movies, TV, Websites, YouTubes, etc,

Reading has been my passion most of my life. I turned my granddaughter into a bookworm whose mother once had to forbid her from reading without permission.
