Joseph 'Joe' Stefano, born April 14, 1938, died November 9, 2014 in Escondido, California from a brain tumor. He was 76. Joe is survived by his wife Joy, two daughters; sister Dorothy Stefano Knerr (SPHS '43) and brother Thomas Stefano (SPHS '51). He was predeceased by an older brother, Tony Stefano (SPHS '46).

Joseph Stefano (April 14, 1938 - November 9, 2014) is survived and adored by his beloved wife of 39 years, Joy, his daughters Laurie (Dana), Page (Brian); grandsons Jacob and Joseph; his sister Dorothy, brother Tom, and many nieces and nephews. Joe also had extended family of sons, daughters, grandchildren and a great-grandson, Logan.

Joe was a loving family man. He was a reliable person that could always be counted on for his sense of obligation toward any project or individual. Joe was loved for his sense of humor and generosity. He had a passion for horse racing and owned several racehorses. He also loved golfing and fishing. Joe proudly served his country in the US Army and the Reserves.
