Robert 'Bob' Kirk

Robert 'Bob' Kirk (July 3, 1936 - September 20, 2018), resident of Folsom, California died at the age of 82. His was a witty, intelligent, and outgoing man. Bob was raised in San Marino and graduated from South Pasadena High School in 1954. He earned a Bachelor's degree from Washington State University and a Master's in Public Health from UC Berkeley.

Bob served two years as a First Lieutenant in the Army, stationed in Germany. He spent much of his career with Good Samaritan Hospital, of Santa Clara Valley. Beginning as an Assistant Administrator, he quickly rose to the role of Administrator, and then ultimately as CEO of Health Dimensions. While working at Alta Bates Hospital in Berkeley, Bob met the love of his life, Cherry Ann Skinner. They were married in 1962. Unfortunately, Cherry preceded Bob in death, dying in 2012, weeks before their 50th anniversary.

Throughout his life, Bob always enjoyed meeting new people and had a large network of friends, but his greatest passion was his family. Bob is survived by sons, Scott and Blake, his daughter, Heather and seven grandchildren.
