Janice Stelhorn McGrath

September 22, 1936 - October 31, 2017

Janice grew up in San Marino and attended South Pasadena-San Marino High School, Class of 1954. She attended Occidental College and was an Education major, a member of Delta sorority, and a Senior Class officer. After graduation in 1958, she married Maurice McGrath, moved to San Gabriel, and started teaching in the San Marino school system.

Maurice and Janice had two sons, Tim and Mark. While teaching full time, Janice went to night school and obtained a Master's Degree in Education. After retiring in 1985, they moved to Del Mar, California. Maurice passed away in 2010. Janice continued her activities in Junior League, her several bridge clubs, and entertaining friends at her ocean view home. She is survived by her sons and four grandchildren.
