Richard Gillette

January 12, 1937 - February 4, 2025

Richard of Reading, Pennsylvania, passed away at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Richard departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Richard. Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on - a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by:  his parents, Robert Gillette and Eleanor Reeves Gillette; and his daughter Lisa McConaghy. He is survived by:  his wife Gretchen Heier Gillette of Cumru Township; his daughters, Loris Maurer of Arizona and Rebecca Dark of Maryland; his stepdaughters, Lisa McCloskey of Pennsylvania and Sandra Vannote of Maryland. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
