Dennis Havill

July 14, 1937 - January 18, 2022

Dennis died from pneumonia at age 84 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is survived by his wife Carole, and three children.

Dennis was a member of the group of 13 males who called themselves the County Gang. His passing leaves only three members still living, Tom Merrill '55, Monte Ross '55, and myself Jay Harris. Dennis lived in San Marino and enjoyed a long working career with Sears, Roebuck, and Company. During our high school years he enjoyed gathering many County Gang members up to head for the shore in Huntington Beach when the grunion were running. All of us also enjoyed spending time on Balboa Island, especially during Easter week every year.
