Carol Lund Harris died Wednesday, June 30, 2004 at Pungo District Hospital.  She was 57.

Born in South Pasadena, California, she was the daughter of the late Howard William and Nadine Irene Utterback Lund.  She was a retired technician in an environmental laboratory before moving to Hyde County with her husband in 2001 from Alta Loma, California.  She was a member of Engelhard Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, James Norwood Harris; two sons, David Parker of Fontana, California and Donald William Parker of Rancho Cucamonga, California; a daughter, Cathie Metzger of Rancho Cucamonga, CA; three sisters, Bonnie Cline of Choudrant, LA., Lola Thompson of Apple Valley, California, and Anina Ferguson of Riverside, California; and four grandchildren.
