 Christy Geissler Centanni of Salem, Oregon, died September 2, 2016 at the age of 70. She was born in Los Angeles on May 8, 1946 to Ted and Eva Peters Geissler. She was married to Terry Saforek, he died in 2014.
Christy enjoyed traveling, watching movies, her book club, spending time with family and friends and was a master gardener. She is survived by her children; Kim (Rory) Shubin, Matt (Victoria) Shubin, Scott (Mary) Centanni; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and brothers, Ted '59 and Peter '67.

Christie Christie Christie.........Wow So sorry that I didn't tell You this while You were still here... Though very few, if any, of my classmates were aware of the fact that I was a very frightened little boy/ young man... l hid behind a wall of noise and a bold and brash tongue... Yet You, Christie, were always so kind to me... I imagine that You were a fine and wonderful Mom... Whenever You saw me in the halls You always, Always, smiled and projected that You were glad to see me... I most certainly was always glad to see You ... What a bum time to say Thank You, yet it's all I've got... My Prayer is that You met Jesus and said yes to Him and that one day soon we can rock and roll together... I Loved You...thano
