Family history living in South Pasadena

My dad was a Patent Draftsman in Pasadena. He built our home at 1026 La Presa Dr. in 1940. It was sold in 1954. Both my parents were from Colorado and moved to CA in 1927.

My sister, Gloria (Lynch) Pickett was a SPSMHS grad, class of '50 and passed away 1/26/06 in Redlands, CA.

School Memories

Will never forget my math teacher, who in shear amazement when she met me in my USNA midshipman uniform at my sister's graduation, said,"Dent, I thought you had to be good in math to get into the Academy!" In fact, it was my high grade in math on the Competative Entrance Exam that won me my appointment!
