I'd like to share about my friend Judy Artunian. We met in kindergarten at El Centro School in South Pasadena and remained friends through junior high, high school, and Pasadena City College. Judy became a freelance writer and contributed to numerous newspapers and magazines including Glamour, InfoWorld, the Chicago Tribune, and the Los Angeles Times. She co-authored two books (with Mike Oldham), Movie Star Homes: The Famous to the Forgotten, and Palm Springs in Vintage Postcards. We stayed in contact over the years with phone conversations and birthday and Christmas cards. Judy was my life-long friend and she'll be dearly missed.
