Ruth Leines was brought into this world April 2, 1927, in San Francisco, California.  She passed away in Portland, Oregon, January 2, 2010, due to complications of congestive heart failure.  She was 82.

Ruth graduated from South Pasadena High School in 1945 and attended Pasadena City College.  Ruthie moved to Portland in 1948 and met her future husband, Per Leines, a World War II Veteran and Portland Police officer.  They married in 1953.  She worked for 33 years at Rodda Paint and retired in 1992.  Ruth loved her time with family and friends.  She loved reading, musicals, movies, Michael Buble and a good martini.

Ruthie is survived by her sons, Jeffrey, Daniel, Brett, and David; daughters-in-law, Dorene, Elsa, and Leah, son-in-law Jeff; grandsons, Rudy, Aaron, Daniel, and Connor; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Per, in 1972, and all of her siblings.  She was the matriarch of the family, and a wonderful mother, aunt, grandmother, and friend.  Heaven has received another angel.
