David Vreeland Kenyon

David V Kenyon (September 10, 1930 - March 31, 2015) received a BA degree from the University of California, Berkeley in 1952 and his Juris Doctor from the USC Gould School of Law in 1957. He was a US Marine Corps Infantry Officer from 1953 - 1954.

He was house counsel for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer from 1959 -1960 and National Theatres and Television, Inc from 1960 - 1961. He was in private practice of law in Los Angeles from 1961 - 1971 and a judge of the Municipal Court of Los Angeles from 1971 - 1972. He was a judge of the Los Angeles County Superior Court from 1972 - 1980.

On June 20, 1980 he was nominated by President Jimmy Carter, to a seat on the United States District Court for the Central District of California, confirmed by the United States Senate, receiving his commission on September 30, 1980. He assumed senior status on October 27, 1995 and retired on July 31, 1997.
