Persida Pavlovich, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, was born on August 11, 1926 and passed away January 2, 2017. She was retired from Bank of America, a member of the La Sierra Chapter Order of Eastern Star, and also a member of the St Peters the Apostle Serbian Orthodox Mother's Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Marko Pavlovich; and her brother, Robert Kurilich (SPHS '55). Persida is survived by her three children, JoAnn Keel of Bakersfield, Mark Pavlovich of Fresno, and Sandra Dominey of Sacramento; her five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her two sisters, Milena Kurilich Martin (SPHS '46) and Bernice Kurilich Ducich (SPHS '50).
