Margaret Ann Owens, 57, of Long Beach, California, died Sunday, September 10, 2006, due to complications of surgery.  She was born on March 1, 1949 in Red Lodge, Montana.

Margaret was an attorney with CKE Restaurants in Anaheim, CA., and a member of the American Bar Association.  She is survived by her mother, Ruth Owens of Ojai; sister Julie (Mitchell) Kertzman of Mill Valley; brothers Tom (Sandie) Owens of Anaheim, and Jim Owens of Mesa, Arizona; and nieces and nephews, Steve, Becky, Meredith, Abigail, William, Jason, and Christina; and her lifelong friend, Carole Boettcher.  She was preceded in death by her father, William Owens.
