Wow, one more gone. heartSheronbroken heart and I met in the 2nd grade when she started Holy Family School. In the 8th grade she became my first girlfriend and we went "steady". For my birthday that year she gifted me with The Beach Boys first album, "Surfin Safari" which I still have believe it or not. In high school she and I shared lockers, mine was located by the wood shop and hers was on the other end of the campus. Of course next came PCC and I was drafted in July of 69. and we lost touch for some years, life, and then around 1985/86 I was on a motorcycle road trip and discovered she was living in Cambria, matter of fact she owned the Mexican restaurant in town. We exchanged contact information, no internet, email or cell phones yet, and stayed in and out of touch.                                                                                                                                                                             I was first made aware of Sherons health issue about a week or so before her passing by our friend and classmate  Anna Rose Danzi. It was a very sad day; lots of memories.

May you rest in peace Sheron,

Steve

I met Sheron in 2nd grade at Holy Family school.  Even then her free spirit and love of life was evident. She went to PCC and shared a small apartment with Kathy Baker...another H F classmate.   She and Kathy decided to move to the central coast and settled in Cambria.  She got married, owned a restaurant, and when her husband died she became a real estate agent.  It was very common to see her little Yorkie, Thor, to work with her and greet all the passersby.  A few years ago she moved inland to Paso Robles and continued her real estate career.  I visited both Sheron and Kathy in Cambria for the past 23 years.  I will miss her there and the phone calls that we shared of which the conversation was mostly laughing.  I'll also miss those calls of reminiscing of the old days and her visits here with me.  I feel fortunate that I was able to visit her last October before the cancer  set in.  Chris Abrams and I had a really nice visit and lunch with her.  She is at peace and pain free.  That also gives me peace.
