Family history living in South Pasadena

My grandparents Ruth & Ray Thomas, came to So. Pas. from Kansas circa 1910. They built their 2 story Craftsman home on Avon Place, & had 2 daughters.My mother.Althea, attended SPHS (class of 1929). My aunt, Anita was in class of 1931,cousin Dick Stoney, (class of1956) & cousin Diana Stoney (class of 61).

My grandfather owned E.N. Thomas & Son Plumbing,on Fair Oaks Ave.,both my mother & father worked & retired from there.

As of August,2016, we now have 2 indoor/outdoor cats, plus 4 strays I only feed, they just found the " cafeteria " , but I can't catch them.

Update May 2022: now these old bones only do minimum gardening. Down to 1 cat, gave up my shotgun.

[Date] What's happening in my life now

Bob & I were married on November 25, 2011. We are involved with the Catholic Church, Bob is in the Knights of Columbus, I am inn the ladies auxiliary, Ladies & Friends of The Knights.

We enjoy cruising, have been twice to Alaska, twice to Hawaii, down the Seine River,France, and the Western Carribean. We are taking daughter
Courtney on a Mexican Riviera Cruise December 30,2016.

We joined The Traveleers Club here in Modesto, & are going with them to New Orleans, Memphis, and Nashville October 29,2016. We also enjoy their various Day trips.

What I'd like my classmates to know about me before our next reunion: We love Portland and the four seasons! Clean air, friendly people. Sorry to miss the reunion! Hope for next time, or to have Face time.

My sympathy to you and your family.  Dennis was in several of my classes and I remember him as a quiet,friendly , nice boy.  Looks like he turned into a good family man.  So glad he was happy.

,Many memories walking  home from school together( we lived a block apart) then phoning each other to ta  talk some more.  Until mom or dad, or the party line wanted to free up the phone.  Besties!  Lost track of her after she went off to college, and then,  married Brian..So sorry she had to leave us so soon.  My condolences to her daughters.
