My dear sweet twin sister, I miss you. I wish you were still here. It's difficult to share who you were over a lifetime. We wove in and out of each others lives so many times, we were always changing as people do. I can say that you got along with people easily and were devoted to those you embraced. You loved children and always wanted a big family. From the time we were small you were always holding babies. You were a devoted mother to one son, Jonathan, and did your best to provide for him even to your own detriment. You gave your time freely to help others, I don't think I ever saw you annoyed. You had a keen intellect and contributed to the Docs and their practices you helped beyond what they pieced together. Whether it was backgammon for drinks or gin (cards) in the hospital, you rarely lost. You endured so many medical mysteries over decades with patience. That near fatal MVA made your final years the most challenging and marked a finite amount of time we had left. You were so fragile yet graceful towards all of us. It's coming up on 12 years. We had our birthday yesterday. If there is a place beyond, I hope your spirit is at peace and I will be side by side again soon. Love you sis.
Jean Foist, 1/5 children, the oldest daughter and identical twin to Jane. Despite distance and different paths, they remained connected as twins do. (Name changes to Shirley and Sharon the same time). She had three children; Ken, Cynthia and Kathleen. Her college education and time studying law were applied to business administration work with leading doctors in Southern California from the 1960-1980s. She enjoyed different homes around southern California. Her passion for cars ranged from her pink Cadillac to Formula One races to her own go-kart track in Orange County often recalling it as a high point. She rescued dogs and cats even risking her own safety on the Long Beach freeway to save "LB" and adopting her and others throughout her life. Jeanne married her long time friend and love Ron Morgan in 1998 living in Irvine then Hesperia where he passed away after convalencing from a stroke he had in 2007. She was a devoted wife then caretaker to Ron. Jeanne made her final move away from Hesperia in hopes of more social interaction in St. George UT, "Tea parties with friends and neighbors". She was joined briefly by Jane (deceased 2018) and later neice Bobbie. She had been receiving a prophylaxis medication regimen for years to manage recurrent cancer along with close medical attention for chronic health conditions; all with strength and fortitude. She will be missed and remembered as the multifaceted role model she was. A gentle rest to you Jeannie.
