I am sorry to report that Bob McKibben died on January 7, 2012 of Alzheimer's disease. Bob graduated from SPHS in June of 1947.  He went on to College of the Pacific, earning his BA in social work, then on to USC to earn a Master's degree in Psychiatric Social Work.  He ultimately became Director of two state institutions; California Youth Authority in Norwalk, and the Youth Training School for 1800 boys in Chino.

Bob was the father of two sons and one daughter, loved to ski and sing and sail his boat.  He was married to Dorothy McKibben for 61 years and I miss him terribly.
