Elizabeth Derby Telleson

May 14, 1940 - March 8, 2022

Liz passed away peacefully at the age of 82. She was a lifelong South Pasadena resident, attending both Oneonta and Lincoln Elementary Schools, the Junior High, and SPHS Class of 1958.

Granny as she was known to most, was an avid gardener, horticulturist, florist, incredible cook, traveler, and fast friend who welcomed everyone to dinner. Her parties were legendary. She is survived by her sister, Joan Derby Harlow '62, her children:  Becky Telleson '76, Eric Telleson '80, Carol Telleson Hunt '81, Howard Telleson, and Melissa Telleson Argue '87; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Her daughter Amy Telleson Pashak '78 preceded her in death this past November. The world will never be the same without her.
