Bob Hoffman

July 29, 1944 - November 24, 2020

Bob and I and Larry Simkins became very close friends in the 8th grade at South Pas Junior High. We spent many summers at Newport and Huntington Beaches and playing all night Carrom games! Bob became a business man willing to try any type of business. From a Winchell Donut franchise to an Orange Julius stand to Bernardo's Ice Cream shop in Pismo Beach, Bob was always up for a new experience. He even traveled with the Doug Kershaw country music band before moving to Oregon, then to Tennessee before migrating back to California and Pollock Pines.

Bob at age 76, died peacefully in his sleep from heart failure the night of November 24th of 2020. Larry and I were celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday at Larry and Kathy (Grimm) Simkins' home when we got the call from his wife that Bob had left his earthly home. What a shock! Survived by his wife Andrea and his daughter Judy, they are in our prayers and Bob will always be in our hearts.
