October 28, 1955 - January 26, 2021

In January we lost my amazing Aunt Colleen. She was diagnosed with late-stage pancreatic cancer in mid-December and she did all she could to beat it. Unfortunately due to the size of the tumor and intensity of chemo, we said our goodbyes late afternoon on January 26.

She was cared for by wonderful ICU nurses and doctors, some of which had worked with her in the past, and all did their absolute best to ensure she was comfortable and well taken care of. I had the honor to be by her side and hold her hand when she passed away. She is now reunited with her dad; brother Pat '72, brother Mat '76; and other close family members. She is survived by sister, Cindy '79 and brother, James '83 and nieces and nephews.

Colleen was the strongest most resilient woman I've ever known. She overcame cancer multiple times in her life, with her first diagnosis happening at an early age. She dedicated her life to taking care of others, and was a respected Respiratory Therapist for over 37 years. She worked throughout the pandemic and just retired in October/November. She loved her patients and always went above and beyond to show and provide care for those in need.

To everyone that knew her, I am so sorry for your loss. She truly was the most genuine and kind person who we will all miss greatly.
