Terri Temm Labate

August 1, 1955 - February 20, 2022

Age 66 of Wilmington, North Carolina left her earthly body and was reunited with her eternal loved ones at Lower Cape Fear Lifecare Hospice House. She died as a result of complications from corticobasal degeneration.

Terri was born in Los Angeles to the late Evelyn (Preising) and Lawrence Temm. Terri married her husband Carmel in August 1979. She was a stay-at-home mom for many years, raising her four children. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from slippery Rock University in 1997. Terri spent the next 21 years teaching Pre-K through the Head Start Program.

In her free time, before her illness, she enjoyed art, sewing, hiking, and running. Her kind spirit and infectious laughter will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her children Natalie Labate, Maery (Luke) Perry, Jonathan Labate, and Hannah Labate; by her husband Carmel Labate; four brothers, Mike (Kathy) Temm, Edward Temm, Gregory (Tonia) Temm, and Peter Temm; two grandchildren; three nieces and one nephew.
