James Woods

August 15, 1958 - October 14, 2025

My heart is broken. I bring the extremely sad news on the passing of our fellow Tiger, Jim Woods. He was my brother, we had so many good times together. We played baseball together; in middle league we were on Crossbow together. He was a left-hander with a wicked curve ball. I had the honor of catching both Jimmy and Tommy Marchica '76, both lefties with wicked curve balls. Jimmy and I had so much fun spending time at the river, playing golf.

You my friend, are at peace now. Say hi go your mom and pop, and my momma and daddy for me Jimmy. Til we meet again, Brother. Save me a seat on the Tiger Patio. Love and miss you Woodsy.
