In Memory

Rosemary Richardson - Class Of 1959

Rosemary Richardson, 69, of American Fork, Utah, passed away July 27, 2011, at the hospital in American Fork, Utah.

Rosemary was born September 29, 1941, in Springville, Utah, to Eldon and Jeanne Richardson.  She was educated in Southern California and Utah where she spent most of her childhood and adult life.  Rosemary spent her life in service of others and the lives she touched were impacted forever.  She never encountered a person in need that she did not reach out to, and was a gift of love and service to all that knew her.  Rosemary served missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Philippines, Thailand, and Puerto Rico.  Additionally, she served as a missionary in the LDS Addiction Recovery Program in Utah County.

Rosemary loved people regardless of age, race, color, or creed.  She enjoyed music, poetry, and was a prolific writer.  Her sense of humor ran the gamut from funny faces, practical jokes, while never hesitating to make fun of herself or take part in any dare.  She was a generous, caring, and loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend, realizing her greatest joy through dedication to her children, grandchildren, and recent great-grandchild.

She is survived by children Kelly Casper (Robert) of Mapleton, Utah; Korin Wiesendanger (Christian) of Las Vegas, Nevada; James Keene (Julia) of Los Angeles, California; and Rebecca Dansie of Oregon.  She has thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
