One last comment...

My life has been filled with many rich and varied experiences since 1957 beginning with my student days at the University of California, Santa Barbara where I was president of the Residence Halls Assoc. and member of the Legislative Council. In 1961 I won the Associated Woman Student of the Year award.

While living in the dorms at UCSB, I started playing a ukulele with friends and soon bought my first guitar. This began a wonderful association with the folk music scene both in California and Australia. In the 1970s I sang on P&O cruises, appeared on TV talent quests and gave three major concerts in Toowoomba. But the most fun was singing at folk clubs in NSW and Qld for 28 years and meeting some great people who are still friends today.

In 2000 my sister Elaine ('58) came to Australia for the Sydney Olympics and we had a fabulous time attending 18 events in 9 sports. The only experience to top this was my trip to California in September 2007 for our 50th reunion. Elaine and I had a wonderful 5 weeks with family and friends.
