Larry Asquith

April 16, 1939 - January 8, 2025

Larry, of Twain Harte, California, went peacefully to be with the Lord at age 85, surrounded by his family. Born in Pasadena, the son of Ellanore Flack Asquith '28 and Ronald Asquith '33, he was raised in South Pasadena attending Marengo Elementary, South Pasadena Junior and Senior High Schools. Obtaining his AA degree in Photolithography from Pasadena City College, he went on to spend 32 years working for Avery Dennison in Azusa.

Larry was an Eagle Scout, reserve fire fighter for the City of South Pasadena Fire Department for over 36 years and was a life time member of the Pasadena Tournament of Roses. He and his wife Sandra moved to Twain Harte in June 1996. In his later years, he was active with the Tuolumne County Sheriff's Community Service Unit, Tuolumne County Sheriff's Search and Rescue Unit, and with Rotary International of Twain Harte.

Passing before him were his mother and father, his aunt and uncle Jane and Edwin Flack '31 and cousin Cathy Flack McMillen '59. He is survived by his wife Sandra, son Frank F Asquith '77 of Sonora, two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren, and cousin Barbara Flack (Paul) Bloomquist '62, and extended family members.
