Wendy Pollock Cusick died on February 26, 2018 surrounded by loved ones. She passed with grace and dignity after a 30-month dance with ovarian cancer.

Wendy was born to Martha Barrows and Victor Pollock on October 29, 1941 in White Plains, New York. She lived most of her childhood in Southern California where she attended Oneonta Elementary and South Pasadena Junior High. Summers were spent at Laguna Beach where Wendy and her two brothers, David and John, loved exploring the ocean and marine life. Wendy graduated South Pasadena High with highest honors in 1959, while earning the Weldon Fair Play Award. In 1963, she graduated from Wellesley College with a Bachelor in Art History. In 1961 she and Michael Berolzheimer wed; they had four children:  Carin, Philip, Laura, and Michael. While living in Stockton, Wendy was active in Junior League, bridge club, and hosted wonderful dinner parties. In 1979, Wendy married Robert Graham and adopted his three daughters:  Merede, Lara, and Sarah. Wendy travelled to Africa, trekked the Himalayans, ran the Bay to Breakers and the New York City Marathon, organized family ski weekends in Kirkwood, and later moved to Carmel, California where she became a loyal docent at the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

After raising her seven children, all-the-while maintaining her timeless elegance, Wendy settled in Mendocino where, in 2000, she married the love of her life, Barry Cusick. Wendy led an active Mendocino lifestyle as a successful innkeeper (and baked the most delicious apricot oatmeal cookies for her guests). She volunteered for Meals on Wheels and at the Point Cabrillo Lighthouse, biked the 500 miles Tanqueray Texas AIDS Ride, and participated in Mendocino Boot Camp for Women.

Wendy is preceded in death by her son, Philip Berolzheimer and daughter Merede Graham. Celebrating Wendy's life are her husband Barry Cusick; her children:  Carin Berolzheimer (Mark Farver), Lara Truppelli (Gar), Sara Graham (Michael Amato), Laura Kraut (Martin), Michael Berolzheimer (Michelle), Brendan Cusick (Lara Ristow), and Shannon Hutchinson (Kyle); 15 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and her loving brothers David Pollock '63, John Pollock '65, their spouses, her many nephews and nieces, and their children.
