 Adrienne E. Westerbeck August 20, 1906(NY)-April 3, 2010(CA)

Adrienne was the daughter of Frederick and Marcelle Zick and the sister of Walter J. Zick. Adrienne (Addie) Zick Westerbeck attended USC and earned  bachelor's(1934) and master's degrees in music, as well as a master's degree in education(1943). She taught organ and piano at PCC until 1971.She gave private music lessons in her home, and at Waltrip's Music Company in Altadena. She was the organist at the Christian Science Church in the Los Feliz area. She also taught pipe organ at SPHS. The PCC Foundation received the largest bequest in the history of PCC($4 million) after her death from the Westerbeck Family Trust to be used as scholarships, named for her husband, Robert, as 'The Robert Westerbeck Scholarship Endowment'. They also donated $4 million to the Thornton School of Music at USC for scholarships in her name. A practice hall at USC was also named after her. She was an Arcadia Silver Circle Volunteer. She and her husband Bob were married for almost 50 years. Her piano was donated to PCC where it is in the  Center for the Arts.
