Charlotte Seydel Woodworth

July 8, 1925 - January 12, 2024

Charlotte Woodworth joined those who preceded her in heaven, passing away peacefully at home at the age of 98. She was born in Los Angeles to Francis and Gladys Seydel, followed by the birth of her two sisters, Evelyn Seydel Poderick '44 and Connie Seydel Cronkhite.

Charlotte met and fell in love with Lyle Woodworth, marrying him in 1948, beginning a loving 50-year marriage. They enjoyed traveling together as they moved their family around California for his career as a corrections officer, living in Tehachapi and then in Sonora. Upon retiring they settled in Santa Rosa to be closer to family.

Her adventures with her sisters, hosting tea parties, and constantly winning games of Chinese Checkers were some of her favorite pastimes. Charlotte is survived by her daughter Lynn Barkhousen, son Craig Woodworth and their respective spouses, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
