Linda Schow Moore, aged 92, passed away in San Diego, California. Born in Los Angeles, Linda was the loving matriarch of her family, a generous and compassionate member of her community, and a friend to many, both human and canine.

Linda's life was marked by her unwavering kindness and the joy she brought to those around her. She was a devoted wife to her late husband, John S Moore, Jr, and a nurturing mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose legacy is carried on by her children, John S Moore III, Robert (Kathleen) Moore, Diane Moore-Pollock (Wendy), and her sweetest pup, Bliss; her adored six grandchildren and her cherished village of great-grandchildren. Linda is survived by her beloved older brother, Robert (Susie) Schow '49 and their children.

A graduate of South Pasadena High School and UCLA, Linda was an esteemed member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority alumni as well as a member of the PEO Sisterhood; both of which remained dear to her throughout her life. She met her husband at UCLA and together they worked hard to build a life and family filled with love.

Professionally, Linda was an accomplished artist, craftswoman, and entrepreneur. Her co-op business, Cherishables, was a testament to her artistic spirit, offering unique handmade gifts and antiques, and serving as a beloved community hub for those seeking the beautiful and the rare.

Linda Moore's grace, compassion, and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will be cherished and her presence forever felt in the hearts of her family and friends.
