[Date] What's happening in my life now

walking my dog around and around seeing each moment anew.

One last comment...

Things you probably don't know about me: 1) I saw St. Vincent's arm at a cathedral in Valencia, Spain. 2) When I was about 11, my best friend and I spent the summer sailing all over Newport Bay by ourselves in a 6 ft styrofoam sailboat that her mother somehow ordered from the back of a pack of KOOL cigarettes. 3) When I was in 10th grade (at So Pas High) my mom sent me to learn how to meditate from a Native American man who was a psychologist at Barnhart School where she taught in Arcadia. His name was Dr. King. 4) We used to sneak into people's swimming pools at night and swim so quietly we would not be caught. We never got caught. 5) We used to set palm trees on fire. That shaggy part on the trunks went right up in flames. 6) In early spring, we would ditch school to hike up the canyons in the San Gabriels and just step over all the baby rattlesnakes sunning themselves on the rocks. 7) I have a daughter who is 32 and her boyfriend is 48. I got used to it. 8) I went to India with a group of Krishna devotees. I wasn't ripped away from my middle class family by the Hare Krishnas, but the trip was eye-opening in more ways than I can fit in #8. 9) I had an implanted defibrillator/pacemaker for cardioversion for 21 years. I had it removed a year ago. 10) I have some serious skills when it comes to reminiscing about Pasadena.

What I'd like my classmates to know about me before our next reunion: I appreciate getting old. I find more inspiration all the time. Expression becomes ever easier.
