Family history living in South Pasadena:

From approx. 1966 till 1974. Last address on Avon Rd. in So. Pas. Great old bungalow-style house - my favorite house ever. Great little town and place to raise kids.

Other SPHS graduates I keep in touch with:

Zoe Freeman Rowe (occasionally)-1952

School Memories:

Walking to school from my house in San Marino to So. Pas. Met Veronica McLaughlin (1952) at her house and then to school. Once in awhile I took the "red car" on Huntington Dr. Going to Fosselman's; Fri. nite football games. Learning to love literature even more from Miss Richardson, my favorite teacher at SP.

What's happening in my life now:

Pretty quiet - have mixed feelings about moving so far from most of my family although my sister (Susan Hay, San Marino class of 1957) lives with me. We have been to Europe couple of times and driven around Oregon (As we live on the coast, there are alot of super places to drive to). My daughter and I went to Italy in 2005 and I visited my youngest son Eric in Switzerland couple of years ago. Other than that it's been mostly drives down to CA to see kids and grands & great-grands.

Now that we are back in CA we have taken several cruises with my sisters friends to Mexico and to Boston and up to Quebec and Montreal in Canada. Look forward to more explorations as our health allows!

Organizations and groups I (did or do) participate in (in high school and/or now):

Not a joiner.

Pastimes & Hobbies:

Reading, crossword puzzles, travel, photography, genealogy (newly acquired fun pastime)

Favorite Music, Songs, Bands

Gershwin, Coward, Rodgers & Hammerstein musicals, jazz (Dave Brubeck, Toots Thielmann, etc.). I like lots of different kinds of music except rap or "screamers".

Favorite Books, Magazines, Movies, TV etc:

PBS, "Lost", 'House', HGTV, any Jane Austen book or series. Sunset Magazine, Consumer Reports, National Geographic, etc.
