Occupation/Career(s) Details:

Fighter pilot and Forward Air Controller (320 combat missions), aeronautical engineer, engineering & logistics management, technical intelligence. After retiring from the Air Force, worked for Lockheed for several years before retiring a second time.

Different places I have lived:

Many during 30 years in the military from California to Washington, DC, with overseas tours in Labrador (1) and Asia (3--Japan, Vietnam, Indonesia).

Family history living in South Pasadena:

From approximately 1936 to 1952. Attended Marengo Elementary School, SP-SM Junior High and SP-SM High. After a tour in Japan with the Army of Occupation, graduated from John Muir College (1950) and USC (1952) when I entered the Air Force.

What's happening in my life now:

As of November 2019, I continue to teach and practice martial arts (Aikido, Taiji, and Gumdo) as 6th degree black belt and Head Instructor of Loudoun Valley Ki Society.

Organizations and groups I (did or do) participate in (in high school and/or now):

Virginia Ki Society, Eastern Ki Federation, Ki Society International, various Masonic organizations, Air Force Association, Order of Daedalians, and National Rifle Association.
